- Payment information: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We receive limited transaction metadata (such as an order confirmation), not full card details.
We also collect limited technical information automatically, including:
- Device, browser, and operating-system information;
- IP address and approximate location;
- Pages visited and interactions with the Service;
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service;
- Review Buyer Discovery submissions and support your car purchase;

- Send transactional emails and, where you opt in, occasional SMS updates.

- Dealerships you authorize us to contact, and only the details needed to progress your purchase.
- Service providers that help us operate the Service (for example, cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics).
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of WellBought, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the Service, and as required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described below.

- Access & correction: you can review or update account details from your account.
- Deletion: email support@wellboughtauto.com to request deletion of your account and personal information, subject to legal-retention obligations.
- Communications: you may opt out of non-transactional email at any time using the unsubscribe link. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS.
- Do Not Track: we do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
8. State-Specific Rights

9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Service is operated in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of your information in the United States.
